La Boucherie's menu lists so many typically French starter dishes including Salade Nicoise; Escargots; Beef Carpaccio; warm Goat Cheese salad and Mousse de Foi Gras. For your main course decide between many different cuts of beef or veal, pork and chicken. Specialities include Boeuf Bourguignon and Foie Gras Poele de Mangue (Duck liver with Mango). To complement your selected food you can choose a red or white wine from a comprehensive wine list.

The Mae Naam (River) Restaurant specialises in the finest Royal Thai cuisine and offers
the famous Tom Yam Kung (Hot and Sour soup with Prawns) and a range of Thai salads; Thai curries and Thai stir-fries. For those preferring less-spicy dishes there is a wide choice
on offer.

The restaurant overlooks our large swimming pool and is also the place where your breakfast - Western or Thai-style - is served.

The restaurant has a closed air-conditioned section as well as its "al fresco" area. Mae Naam has a cocktail bar and a large selection of comfortable sofas and chairs to relax in, whilst enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail or taking coffee and a liqueur after your meal.

You may wish to travel around the island independently of local public transport and the expensive tuk-tuks! What better way to do this than to rent a motorcycle - either for the day or longer. To comply with local traffic laws you must have a valid licence to ride a motorcycle
and you must wear a helmet at all times when riding on the road.
